probably our 1 yr anniversary when we went up to the North Shore. We stayed at a beautiful resort called Cove Point Lodge. Although the weather did not cooperate, it was still amazing up there.

I’ve been on a number of vacations all by my lonesome.

However, the two that stick out most to me is when our grown girls were in elementary school we spent several days in Orlando.

More recently, a few years ago we rented a a very nice, very large vacation spot in the mountains of NC. It was on a lake, had a game room and beds to sleep ten. We had to put some of the younger kids in sleeping bags. We had SUCH a good time! It was in the 80smorning one day and we had snow flurries the next! Gosh that was so much fun!

Probably the 3 weeks in India. We saw and touched so many amazing things. Wasn’t crazy about the food choices most of the time, and I got sick a couple times, but it was totally worth it.

I think when I was 19 years, I went with a friend to Spain. She and I had the most amazing, fun and best vacation a 19 year old can have 😉 And with that same friend to Austria, skiing. Everything in that vacation was super.
But the best vacation was with my then soon to be husband, to Hawaii on a pre-honeymoon trip.

This is a toughie… Our honeymoon to Disneyworld was a blast. But I also had some really fun trips with my parents when I was growing up – Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, the Redwoods. And then there was my cousin’s wedding in NY… the whole family (mine and my cousins) all rented a block of hotel rooms, so the party started when we got there and ended when we left for home.

Hmmm I think we have yet to have our best vacation. I think it’ll be this up coming one (oct 21st-23rd) and we cannot wait! We’re going up to Duluth during Fall break. I’d say every time we go up north is our best time. We haven’t gone in a few years so I’m excited to take Bailey up there again, since he’s old enough to appreciate it.
