I really like willow tree’s and no, I don’t have one. I also like fruit trees and I have a few of those. I love the flowers they produce in the spring.

  2. Jenny says:

Maple trees. Mom has a couple and they are so pretty in the fall!

  3. SKL says:

I like maples too, and I have some.

Not really sure if I have a “favorite” tree. I like trees, though. I used to joke that I was a tree in a prior life. (You know, the one before I was a cow.)

Actually, I could say my favorite tree is a climbing tree. Is it just me, or are there fewer now than when i was a kid?

You’ve just gotta know where to look. I find Maples are exceptionally good for climbing. They tend to have a sturdy branch or two, closer to the ground for climbing purposes. But you have to find an “adolescent” one – the young ones are too thin and not strong enough yet, and the mature ones are too tall to reach those bottom branches.

I think, the Oak. Because they’re so strong, they live SO long, and when you look at them, they’re so simple… but the closer you get, the more complicated they get. And they smell nice when you get some to burn. We have several on our property. The squirrels, chipmunks and deer just love us for our acorns.

I also like Christmas Trees. Real ones. Does that count?

  5. Sue says:

I also like Maple trees and it’s also because of their fall color. But I also like them because the give such nice shade in the summer.

    Weeping willows and Magnolias

Can I be a girl for this one? Girls always have more than one “best” or “favorite.”

I like a cedar. They are evergreen and provide homes for birds. If you were one of my Facebook friends you may have seen a picture of the 40 footer I put lights on last Christmas. It looked spectacular!

The other favorite is the oak. In particular, the sawtooth oak. They have large leaves and the acorns on that oak is the largest of all oaks. Therefore the sawtooth oak can feed more wild life than other oaks.

I like fruit trees too but I can’t say that I have a favorite one. We have two fig trees, two peach trees, two pear trees and a plum tree. I’m going to put in a coouple of apple trees within the next month.

  8. Nikki says:

Willows are my favorite. I love the way they look.

I love the colors of the maple.

I’m thankful for Evergreens, because that’s the only green we see for months. 🙂
