Question of the day

RARELY answer the home phone. I figure if they know us (and we are friends) they will call our cell phone. But the caller ID doesn’t kick in until the second ring. So a minimums of two rings.
We will answer when we find the phone….its always lost
It depends if the phone is close by or not. I try to answer by 3 rings, because that is what my parents taught me when I was a kid.
Usually about the 2nd ring for someone I know or want to talk to. If I don’t know the caller or don’t want to deal with him/her, I send them into voice mail.
As long as it takes me to get to the phone.
At least 2, so the caller ID kicks in.
yup at least 2 here usually too but before the 4th,then the answer machine gets it.
I’m like Jenny. As soon as I locate it. Hopefully before the 5th ring or the machine kicks on.
