Make this fun snack mix to pass out to all of your ghoulish trick-or-treaters this Halloween. They’re sure to be a scream of fun!

I also thought this might be a fun activity either for a classroom or a group. 4-H or Scouting come to mind 🙂

6 cups air popped popcorn
2 cups pretzel snaps (Brand: snyder’s)
1 ½ cup salted peanuts
6 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup candy corn
1/2 cup chocolate coated candies
½ cup chocolate coated peanut butter candies
Special Equipment: Plastic food handlers gloves

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Combine the pretzles and peanuts in a large bowl.

Add the melted butter to a small bowl and stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Drizzle half the butter over the pretzel mixture and toss well. Transfer to 2 sheet trays and bake for 15 minutes.

Divide the popcorn between the sheet trays, drizzle with the remaining butter and stir to combine. Place back in the oven and bake for 15 more minutes. Cool then combine with the candy.

Add to plastic gloves and tie with ribbon
