LOL! This really made me laugh. I do this stuff and have for years. I go so far as to bring gloves and a package of clorox wipes.

If you realluy want to creep out bring a black light with you. Turn the room lights off and play like you have a cameo on CSI! But you may not sleep so well. 😉

I went on a trip with the band that I worked with, and one of the parents actually did that. This was right after 20/20 or somebody did an expose on it. So this parent is going from kid’s room to kid’s room, shining that black light around and freaking kids out. We had to confiscate it from him, the moron.

I don’t do any of it, AND I don’t use those hand sanitizers unless I absolutely have to. Like when I’m out at an event and use the porta-potty and they only have the disinfectant but not a washing station.

First, I’ve never gotten sick staying in a hotel room, and second, I figure the germs that I’m exposed to? Are only going to strengthen my immune system. If I find anything particularly gross, I’ll call the front desk and tell them about it.

For the most part I don’t worry about it. When you play outside you soon realize all the naturally occurring fecal deposits/accumulations, mould, germs, etc.
Though we did have a bad case of blood on the ‘clean’ toilet in the hotel at Grand Canyon. THAT we made them rectify!!

You guys are so lucky. I’d give anything not to stress/worry/obsess about this. It actually cripples me of traveling sometimes.
