I hope everyone survived Thanksgiving. I love long weekends. Bailey’s been home since Wednesday, and Jason and I are lucky enough to have today off. We’re getting our Christmas tree Saturday. I got my boxes of decorations out, but that’s as far as that’s gotten.

Us Girls..Our Views 
All I can say is shopping was CRAZY lastnight!! Never ever will I do that again……. Didn’t get home till after 3. Got some stuff at Walmart for Hunter, which he didn’t really need. I said I was done shopping for him last week! Picked up a few clothes, movies & a game for him. Thanksgiving was great. Leftovers today were nummy too 🙂 It doesn’t feel like Friday today.
My Thanksgiving was nice. I did have to work – or go through the motions, mostly – on Thursday until about 2:30, and then we left to go to my parents’ house a little before 4pm. My parents had invited some old family friends over. Other than the dinner being late, it was really nice. Actually, the dinner was really early compared to our usual, so after it was done, I had enough energy to finish most of the clean-up and socialize. Some of my siblings weren’t there, so there wasn’t a super late night chatting session like usual. I went to bed around maybe midnight and then slept in Friday morning. Then I had a realtively laid-back day (still at my parents’ house) until I drove home in the wee hours. My dad adjusted the girls’ bikes so they are a more appropriate size for them, and Miss E was able to ride hers much better. Then we went to the park and the girls got a good workout, and we did some puzzles while my mom had a kiddy film festival going. Mostly we just ate leftovers and pie and chatted all day. Now it’s about 5am and I have finally gotten my computer to cooperate enough to log onto here. I will get about 2.5 hours of sleep before the Saturday work day starts.
This weekend is going to be stressful, I think, because I have so much work to do. I hope I can concentrate and get it done and that we don’t have any drama. I received the scrooge video that I ordered, so hopefully my kids and I can watch that on Saturday afternoon. That is about it for my weekend plans.
