I’m loving that cookbook idea. I’ve done it in the past, but just with three-ring binders, page protectors, and my own recipe program. Now that my recipe program wasn’t upgraded for Vista and beyond (thanks, software company, for getting me to load something like 900 recipes into a now-completely unusable program!), it might be nice to have another way to format them.
I like the stuff in the jars; soups, cookies, drink mixes. You can dress those up any way you want and make them truly your own. Neat ideas!
I made homemade chicken noodle soup jars once. Filled it up with dried homemade noodles, chicken broth, dried parsley and star anise, etc. All the recipient had to do was add some cooked chicken breast and water.
I made a variety of cookies one year and sold them at craft fairs. It was a lot of fun. I may try something like this again. Who doesn’t like something easy and “from scratch” at the same time.
Great ideas!!!
