Well the answer to “if” for all of us is yes. I would like something in forestry.

  2. Laura says:

I’ve thought long and hard about returning to school. I’d like to, since the degree I earned back when “any degree is just fine” is now NOT fine, and completely obsolete and useless, even in the field I earned it in. Only one problem… I’m interested in too dang many things!! Writing. Business. Law. Graphic Design. Conservation/forestry. Animal science. I really don’t know what I would study!

  3. Vicki says:

I would, Id want to do something exciting and something that would give me worldly travel.

Vicki, one of my Facebook friends (Ashley Turner Doyle) as a college student (about 15 years ago) used to run my telemarketing room. Ashley has since become an attorney but does not practice law.

After passing the Bar she became a Pharmacutical Rep. After that she did a couple of other things. Now she has a gig writing articles for a travle magazine. Last month she went to China. She did all the high profile things that the Chinese Government would want Westerners to see. Even had her picture taken with panda bears! (‘ll send a pic to Joy to get to you).

Next week Ashley leaves for India. Here is her status update.
“Tigers and elephants get ready. Crocs I’m not scared of you ;). NYC to Frankfurt to Delhi India. Wonder how bad I will look in 22 hours at the other end?”

My answer would be no. But I always said when I was going for massage therapy I should’ve taken cosmetology as well. I love working on hair!

  5. SKL says:

I don’t know. It really depends on what day you ask me! I used to have more of a hunger for that kind of learning. I am kind of out of the habit for that stuff. The other day I was thinking about this – I would have approached so many things with more intellectual intensity when I was just a little younger. I think I’ll blame it on my kids.

I’m having enough fun in my life now, and I have enough challenge. But honestly, I feel like I’m in a fog most of the time. I mentioned this before. Is it the eyes, old age, mommy brain, a tumor? I really wonder sometimes.

  6. Karen Joy says:

My answer is a BIG NO!I hated school.

  7. Joy says:

I’d like to do some kind of teaching. Maybe young kids. Under 3rd or so grade. When kids are still “real” and are on the verge of innocence and growing up. I like the idea of having summers off and holidays and I loved and really miss being with kids everyday. You’re forced to stay “in the loop” of life when you’re with little people everyday.

  8. Nikki says:

My answer to this has always been a BIG FAT NO! The older I get, the more I think about it. It would be for either early education, or real estate. Two totally different things, but I’d love to sell houses for a living, and I really like seeing the wonder, excitement and accomplishment in the eyes of young children.

  9. Sue says:

Yes, I would go back, but I’m not sure for what. When I first went to school it was for nursing, and I was accepted into 2 different programs, but God had other plans for me 😉 After having kids I decided nursing was not my thing, but as time goes on, I wouldn’t mind it. Awhile back (couple years maybe) I looked into radiation technology, but not the xray kind. The chemotherapy kind where you are the one that figures out dosages and administers the different drugs used to fight cancer. Only down side was the clinical portion was 9 months long and you could be sent to any place in the 5 state area! I told the lady it wouldn’t work b/c I had kids and she said, “well, it’s only 9 months.” ONLY??? That’s a whole school year lady! LOL! Needless to say I haven’t gone back yet!
