You know, after I read this it really made me think about HOW OFTEN this happens to me. It’s also not just age because it’s always happened to me. “What did I come in here for?” I do find, like this article states that “walls” screw me right up. If I’m in my living room and get up to get something, I never forget “mid way” “what am I going for” but if I walk into the kitchen, or worse yet, pass through 2 walls then you might as well forget it. I’ll have to retrace my steps.

It happens to me fairly often. In fact, just this morning I went to the store to buy two things. For the life of me, I couldn’t remember what the 2nd thing was. I just remembered it was something important enough that I’d better not leave the store without it. A sales clerk offered help, and I said if I could remember what I’m supposed to buy, I’d know how to find it, LOL. Right after that, I did remember. It was a birthday card for my niece.

Yes, it is so me. If it is important, i write it down but if I have to go upstairs, I keep saying, pick up the laundry or something like that, and then, still with trouble, I know why I am upstairs. I am glad it is a common brain thingand not that I am going senile. 🙂

I forget what I went into a room for, too! Sometimes I’m just too busy thinking of everything that I can’t remember the one thing I needed, other times I don’t know why it happens, but it’s frustrating!

This doesn’t happen to me as much as it used to! Still, it happens too often. lol Pisses me right off. Really, I forgot that fast?! It used to be so bad, that I’d forget who I was calling! I’ve had to hang up and find out first. I’m not that bad anymore. My brain is not SO scattered.
