Cloud Dough

Ever hear of Cloud Dough? It’s a wonderful sensory activity for preschool children, (although it looks fun to me too!) Apparently, it feels like flour when it runs through your fingers, but molds like sand. Pretty cool huh??

Supplies:

8 cups of flour

1 cup of baby oil

Directions:
Mix the flour and baby oil together with your hands in a large container until the dough holds together when squeezed.  It could take 3-5 minutes of mixing.

This is cool as all get out. We should make a little sand box of this stuff next summer just for the fun of it. Our sand box still hasn’t gotten old. We plan on a dump truck full in the spring. I’d love to make this and play with it.

I’ll have to try this, too, but I’ll have to get some generic flour for it. All I’ve got around here is King Arthur Flour, which is awesome flour, but at like 5 bucks a bag, I’m not mixing it with baby oil!!
