Nope! Just whatever looks good to us.

This of course includes those “personal meaning” ornaments. We have some handmade ornaments connected with cultural heritage, picture frame ornaments of the kids from each year since they came home, stuff the kids have made, etc. And the usual store-bought ornaments that we thought were pretty.

  2. Jenny says:

Blue & Silver bulbs and lights with tinsel. Now that Hunter is at the fun stage of making ornaments we will have more of those on our tree.

  3. Laura says:

Nope. We do put the same stuff on every year, but most of our ornaments have some sort of meaning to us. Some are “fillers” – purple balls, some gold with white scenes, some candy-cane striped balls. Otherwise, they’re all ones that we’ve collected over the years.

  4. Joy says:

No. I have everything from years gone by. I have a few “fillers” that I got when we got this tree because I needed more but almost every single thing on our tree means something to us. I love my ornaments.

I have my blue and silver for the main colors, but I have my ornaments from my childhood (the ones that have made it through the years) and now Bailey gets a new one every year. This year he chose a Gophers one. 🙂 I don’t normally use icicles on the tree, but did this year and we love it! We also got a new tree topper, a multi colored star, that Bailey picked out. Our tree is pretty much everything Bailey wants, which is the whole point, right?
