Question of the day

You mean just in general or for dinner? 🙂
NOT for dinner! That’s a different question! LOL!!
I’m a big fan of dogs. More specifically our newly acquired German Shorthair Pointer. Probably the best dog ever, minus his gas problem!
I love animals, but I hate that when you go on a trip you need someone to look after them. I wish there was an animal that would use the toilet & feed themselves! I like the company of a cat…but our cat isn’t the friendliest. Our new dog I would say is pretty good like Jason said.
10 years ago I would have said a dog. I love dogs I really do and I’d love a little dog but I’m tired of the work. Taking Ella for a haircut is such a pain. I hate it. I hate the barking at nothing and the licking and scratching and that you can’t go anywhere.
I’m going to go with a cat now just because I love Maddie so much and I feel I need a cat to get the mice. If I lived where mice weren’t a problem, I have a 100 gallon aquarium.
I think cow or horse. Definitely not skunk or raccoon.
Speaking of traveling with dogs, my houseguests who just left take their dog whenever they all go away from home at the same time. They brought her to our house for Christmas. I must say she is a very well-behaved and completely inoffensive dog, and they are really careful about her not being a pain in the butt for their hosts. But they will not go out to dinner/movie/whatever if it’s too cold to leave her in the car. If they are talked into it, they insist on taking turns going out to sit with her and keep the car warm. That would put a cramp in my style, but it’s their choice.
Cats – since I’ve been a little girl, I’ve LOVED cats. All kinds, mind you – from the big cats down to house cats.
Most things with four legs and a personality. On different days, and for different reasons… dogs, cats, horses.
Our dog travels with us, when we go see family. He’s part of the family, and they accept him pretty well. We’ve only traveled once since Hobbers came on the scene, and he was too young to leave alone when we traveled, so I left him at the Vet. They spoil their charges rotten, so I don’t feel guilty leaving Cruise there when we go on vacations and such.
You know I love my cats, a lot. I can’t imagine life with them. BUT, my dog is so loyal and loving and so happy to just be sitting by me. I do love her the very most. I love the way dogs love, unconditionally. I’d have to go with dogs.
