Do we get to pick which week?
If yes, maybe I’d swap with an Olympic gymnast during the Olympics games. Or an astronaut when she’s up there. Or Barack Obama when he’s between vacations.
Good thinking. That kind of thought never occurred to me.
Does it have to be a living person?
I think I would like to change places with Michelle Obama. She has THE BEST all expenses paid vacations and is pampered every minute of her life! The week doesn’t matter. She is usually on vacation somewhere each week any way.
Do I get to have that person’s talents when I switch or not? If not, then I don’t want to switch! Wouldn’t do me any good to be Kelly Clarkson for a week if I couldn’t sing or perform like she does!
My first thought was Michelle Kwan, because I would LOVE to know what it’s like to be able to skate like that. But then I thought the same question that Sue asked: would I get her talent and abilities, as well? Because if I didn’t, then I’d just be me, standing in the middle of an ice rink in California, wondering how the heck I’m supposed to even begin to try to do a triple flip.
If the switch was like the movie, Trading Spaces, I think I’d pick someone like… Obama, maybe. First thing I’d do is repeal this stupid Light Bulb Ban (which, it appears, is now back on). Maybe approve that pipeline.
I’m going totally selfish. When I first wrote this question I wanted to switch with someone SUPER rich that lives in a mansion like on the O.C. I’d love to live like that for one week to see what it’s like. Some of the homes on that show are unbelievable. Also the mansions on Revenge.
Would I go back to being me, with more knowledge and understanding of the person I was for a week? If so, I think I’d want to be my oldest sister. Maybe then, I would know if it’s really physical, or physiological? I’d love to be able to help her, but I don’t understand her thinking, or her actions. She changed, somewhere along the way.
And if I gained nothing in the end, then I would be someone rich! Live the high life for a week, doesn’t sound bad at all.
The question is…If I changed something, would it stay that way after the week?
No. Everything would go back to normal.
What if I was that person who missed an important meeting!
We’d plan ahead.
Oh, I got one! What if it was a random meeting on a Tuesday and we switched on a Monday?
Okay! Both you Jason’s knock it off!
It’s just a meeting. People who go to meetings LOVE meetings, so they’d LOVE the excuse to reschedule the meetings!! Then you’d get to go to MORE meetings!!!!!
