I just love idea #1. I love the idea of really pretty door knobs and “things” that are just pretty.
I also love #4, #6, #10 and I just LOVE #7.
Whenever I go on a “cleaning binge” around here, I finish it up with a trip to our local flower shop. I LOVE having fresh flowers in the house, but don’t do it often, because, for most of my house-owning life, I’ve had a cat that loves flowers. THIS cat? I plan to teach him that flowers are evil beings bent on stealing his soul, so he’ll stay away. So I hope I can keep going with the flower thing. I don’t buy them for myself enough.
Oh, and you know? I do not have doorknobs on any of the cabinets in my house. It drives me crazy that I don’t, but I haven’t found any that I like AND can afford.
Have you ever looked at flea markets? Old dressers and such have gorgeous knobs on them sometimes.
