Been to 2 plays, 1 was a murder mystery dinner play. That one was pretty cool. They performed around all the tables. So you were kinda in the middle of everything. The other play I can’t remember, but I didn’t like that one.
I’ve never been to “Broadway”, but I’ve been to plays/musicals that have played Broadway. The biggest one I remember was Les Miserables. I saw it in Chicago. I’ve been to tons of others at smaller theatres… Oklahoma, My Fair Lady, and others that I can’t remember the names of right now. I love going to the theatre.
I have been to several plays. I guess I am not sure what counts as a play. But I did see the Phantom of the Opera on actual Broadway in NY, many years ago (I thought it was awesome). I have also seen some plays on our local big city’s version of Broadway, including West Side Story and, I think (years ago), the Scarlet Pimpernel. And Dr. Doolittle, and Cats, and the Nutcracker. I guess if I think long enough, there will be more.
I’ve also seen plays / musicals in more amateur settings, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Sound of Music, and a few kiddy productions including Beauty and the Beast, 101 Dalmations, The Princess and the Pea, Pocahontas, etc. Finally, I’ve been to some real-life high school musicals / plays such as Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella (by Rogers & Hammerstein). I can’t remember all of them.
I think I did that dinner mystery play that Jenny was talking about. It was for a fundraiser my brother was involved in. I do believe I was the first to solve the mystery. It was fun.
I have seen some local plays. I did see Camelot in Boston many years ago. That’s about it for me. My daughter has seen a few plays on Broadway and has promised to take me to one though I am still waiting.
Regular plays yes, Broadway no.
No, I don’t think I have. I’ve been to the ones the kids put on, but not a Broadway play.
No to Broadway though I’d love to see one. I’ve seen a few plays but they really aren’t my thing. But to be fair, I don’t like going to movies either.
FINALLY!!! something that we don’t have in common!!
LOL!
