Question of the day from SKL

I would love to learn how to play the piano. And run a marathon. Ok, maybe half a marathon. Ok, really just a 10k, but I can dream right?!
“Shoot for the stars, if you miss, you still land among the Heavens”… or something like that. Yeah, go for the Marathon. You have to go through the 10K and the Half to get there, right?
I have no recollection of asking this question, so I don’t remember what life dream I might have been thinking of. I think one thing I want to do is more international travel. I still would like to learn more languages and become fluent in some, but I am not sure whether that’s possible. Same thing with getting good at one or more musical instruments.
Raising kids is one that I still don’t take for granted, since I got the opportunity in an unusual way and I still have a way to go to accomplish it.
I have had so many dreams that have gone dormant. Maybe they will re-awaken eventually. Like getting into really good physical condition, writing, starting a primary school or daycare, figuring out a way to really increase literacy, and who knows how many other things.
I’d like to conquer my fear of flying and travel. I’d love to go to NYC and the New England states.
Reach a good weight for me. I don’t know what that is. All the charts say what my “ideal” weight should be, but I haven’t been there since my freshman year in college, and I don’t know if that’s realistic for me. So I guess… find a weight that’s healthier than I am now.
I’d also like to travel. England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Germany, and the ever-elusive Bora Bora are tops on the list.
I’m embroiled in the third one now, raising Josh to be a good man.
Please don’t go by weight charts. WTH? You’ll know your ideal place to be when it feels right to you. Other than to track myself, I go by what I can wear and how I feel. The scale should mean nothing more than a yearly thing to do at the doctor.
Go on a vacation to Italy with all of my sisters. The last time we were all together, I was 14. I’ve gone 7 years without seeing 2 of my sisters. Too long.
Fortunately I’ve lived long enough ot forget if I ever did have any life long dream. Either that or I have already accomplished it/them. 😉
