I’m sure you could use a day to sleep in too? I thought so. How was everyone’s week? My week was good. Nothing exciting happened. Nothing bad happened either, so I consider that a good week!
What’s going on this weekend? I was hoping to go sledding at our local golf course hill with the kids, but if the weather keeps this up, what little snow we have will be gone soon. How about you, any plans?

All on my own I decided to stop taking my adderall on Monday. So this has been an interesting, mixed up, sorta lazy week. I’m usually a morning, get stuff done early guy. But after taking amphetamines pretty much every day for a couple of years (or more) it’s much easier to take a morning nap than I figured it would be.
I’ve for lots to ketchup on this weekend. Lol
Is that an okay thing to do? Just stop like that on your own? What made you want to stop taking it?
No I have been advised that that’s not the best way to go.
Remember the emergency room visit I had this past Saturday? Although the chest X-ray and EKG were negative my labs showed something wrong with my liver. Although it is likely do to the way I’ve been eating the last (nearly) three weeks a friend suggested I search “adderall liver side effects.” I ran across a Canadian study that I found a bit alarming. Sudden heart problems possibly resulting in death. But the clincher was long term use of amphetamines could cause ED! I have enough going on without having to worry about … that.
I’m sure you’ve thought about this but maybe, just maybe, you should talk to your doctor. Maybe (?) there’s something else you could take.
We have a weekend off! No basketball scheduled or anything! Well, Trinity has a bday party on Sunday, but other than that and religion, there’s nothing! So, I went to Zumba tonight with a couple of girlfriends and it was pretty fun! Has anyone tried it? It was an hour long, but you’d never know it. The instructor was fun and the music was great so it flew by. May have to go again! That’s all I’ve got for now 🙂

in Watkins. I know they have it in Kimball, but Leslie and Alisha didn’t know that and it sounds like Leslie goes to Watkins regularly so, we went there.
Is the instructor Lou Ann?
I thought she said her name was Heid. Shorter lady, blonde hair. Works at the building we were at. (Which, I’m not sure what it was!)
That sounds like a fun way to get exercise I have thought about Zumba before but thats as close as Ive come to it just a thought.

Okay. The weight loss lady is Lou Ann and she talked about doing this so I just wondered.
This week has been weird. I am still up to my ears in work backlog, but I’ve been whittling it down. My boss-partner flew to the Left Coast on Wednesday morning, leaving me with a list of priority work bla bla bla. Well, no sooner did the work day start Wednesday when all H— broke loose with one of our clients. I ended up having to put stuff off that I still haven’t caught up on. Last night I was lazy because it was my first day away from boss-partner in months and I thought it would be nice to waste an evening (like everyone else does) for a change. Then today as I was putzing through my to-do list, I got an email from another client. Turns out I had a deadline of the 25th that I did not have on my radar. Oh, crap. So that is another thing I have to figure out right away. There is no rest for the weary.
Miss E is acting weird lately. I don’t know if it’s jitters over the school changes or if she’s coming down with something. Both of my kids claimed to have pain in their stomachs Wednesday, but nobody had a fever or other usual signs of illness.
Tomorrow (Friday) is my dad’s 70th birthday. Other than a Lowes gift card, I don’t have a gift for him. I had wanted put a vacation photo of my kids in a frame, but as of now I don’t have the photo nor the frame, so we’ll see. He is one of those people who already has everything he will ever need or want. I feel kinda stupid giving him another gift card after giving him a bunch of them for the anniversary and Christmas. But it’s better than nothing. Maybe I’ll swing by the grocery and pick him up some teas or something.
Anyhoo, I was going to say that I hope to visit my parents on Friday for a few hours. On Saturday, I don’t know – some folks want to go out to lunch, but I’d rather skip it. I’d rather work through my kids’ afternoon nap and then not be pressured over spending time with my kids in the evening. I don’t have anyplace to go on Saturday, so it would be nice if there were such a thing as a relaxing evening at home.
Sunday is the open house at the Lutheran school. I guess I will go to it, thought I’m not really sure what I’m going to do there. I mean, I went to a Lutheran school, I’m at this school building every Sunday, I’ve read every word of the school website, I know the 1st grade teacher (pastor’s wife), etc. I don’t have a lot of questions that need answers from the school. But the pastor’s wife has approached me twice about attending the open house, so I guess she thinks there would be value in it.
Right now I’m debating whether to get some sleep or try to catch up on some more work. I think the sleep idea is getting more votes right now, so I will sign off pretty soon.

Fridays here already seems like the first of the week went so slow and now it’s Friday not sure what happened. I’m looking forward to the weekend although the weather man did say winds up to 60 miles an hour. A couple days ago the winds were 80 miles an hour there were 4 semi trucks blew over on the highway in our area thats windy. Cute picture of the little kitty. I have felt pretty wiped out usually from too much work and much of a TODO list.
I completely forgot when I wrote this that I’d be able to sleep in today! The end of the quarter for school was yesterday, so there’s teacher in service today. NO school!!! 🙂 🙂

We don’t have any plans this weekend. We’ll hit the pool at some point but who knows at what point that will be. Paul has some “busy work” things he’d like to get done but if it gets done it does but if not, it won’t. No big deal. He wants to make this that I found on Pinterest and I think he’s picking up the stuff today. Silly guy! But it will be really nice for our basement.
I broke my GOOD camera on Wed and am just sick over it. It took me 2 years of research to pick that thing out and I got a heck of a deal on it but man, now the price is unreal if I even wanted to replace it but the sad thing is I won’t be able to get the same one. Damn I’m mad at myself. I should have moved it but I thought I could open the drawer justalittlemore and it went flying halfway across the room and fell REALLY HARD and I instantly felt sick. The hood cracked off it and went flying. I just feel sick about it though. I know it’s going to be a long time until I find another one I loved like this one.
So, that’s it for me. It’s trying to snow and I wish it just would. The birds are sure active so that tells me something’s coming. Have a great weekend all.

I was just looking at replacing the body only and it’s $739.95 with shipping and handling 😦 I don’t need the lenses or anything. I’ll look around. I won’t pay that at this point but it’s what I used most of the time at home. That’s why it was out. I was scared to even tell Paul but he took it okay.
I”ve got another crazy weekend on tap… Tomorrow is the Polar Bear for Scouts. The sledding event that they cancelled last weekend because…. we had too much snow!! I was a bit nervous because it’s snowing right now, and I figured they’d cancel again, but so far, so good. So that’s all day. 6:30 AM until whatever time at night we get home. Probably around 8.
Sunday, Josh sings in choir at church, then he’s having a friend over (this just decided this minute, as he informs me that B *must* come over to rehearse their skit for the Talent Show on Friday), and then Sunday night, I’ve got a Scout Leader’s Meeting.
So now, I’m trying to get a bunch of paperwork done for tomorrow (it’s amazing how much paperwork is needed for a simple sledding trip), and also the Pull Up, so i’m not duncing in the corner again…
I probably wont’ see you again until Monday. So happy weekend!
