Does Maternity leave count? If not a week. It has been a really long time since I have done that though. Now it seems like I take a day of here and there and that’s it.
Oh yeah, I forgot about maternity leave. Of course I had two jobs and neither respected mat leave, so there goes that.
I went to India for about three weeks back in 1998-99. Thinking back, I almost can’t believe I had the nerve. Of course, it was a slow time at work, and only about 10 of the days were actual days off work, but still. And I don’t regret it at all.
I’d say 5 days. Paul could never have left work back in the day. It would be run into the ground without him!
In 21 years at my last job the longest I took was 2 weeks one time.Usual was one week in summer.
Other than maternity leave, I think it was when we went to Hawaii for 9 days. It’s really nice to get away from work, but sometimes it’s nice to get back!
Our vacations to California are always about 10 days. 2 full weekends, but honestly I wouldn’t call that a vacation! Run, run, run…go go go….and fast! No one stops to just enjoy life there, it seems.
