Us Girls..Our Views 
I hate to be one of those “I don’t watch TV” people, but I am. The only show I’m really looking forward to is Downton Abbey, and I’ve heard rumors that we don’t get THAT back until January 2013!! I saw a preview of a show with Matthew Perry duringthe Olympics, and I think it looked really funny. Unfortunately, our evenings are structured so that there really isn’t time to watch TV. And being the cheapskate I am, I only have free TV, and the VCRs aren’t compatible… so no recording. Oh, well. There’s always NEtflix…
I’m the same way – worse, actually. No time to watch TV, and not much inclination, either. Once you get used to not watching it, you don’t miss it, right?
But I do have a deep, dark confession. Recently I’ve been watching stuff on YouTube. Mostly documentaries and short factual videos. It’s a nice distraction that I can have right at my computer, between work tasks. Can’t be any worse than visiting “that site” while procrastinating, right?
I don’t miss it, and I do. I miss being ‘in the loop’, and being able to kick back and relax and get a few laughs. I actually do like watching TV. The side benefit to this, though, is that Josh’s evenings aren’t spent mindlessly watching TV, but doing other mindless things, like building things with his legos and reading books. So I guess it’s a trade off.
Person of Interest is back on that’s all I care about!Love that show.Ok there are a few others but not many.I can miss episodes of most but not POI.
I’m upset about Missing. We really liked that. We also really liked Alcatraz which isn’t coming back. Harry’s Law is another good one that got canceled. A Gifted Man was good too and it was on Friday which nothing else is on so I’ll miss that one.
Parenthood is probably my favorite show and that’s coming back. I also love Once Upon A Time and that’s been renewed. We also love Blue Bloods. YAY for Criminal Minds. The Good Wife. I LOVE Smash.
Don’t laugh but I LOVE My Big Redneck Vacation. Those people are hilarious! I’m glad it’s coming back. Of course, I’m still super sad One Tree Hill is over, but I knew that would be the last season. Jason and I both like Person of Interest, so I’m happy to see that is coming back. Raising Hope and New Girl are shows that all 3 of us sit and watch. The Amazing Race, YAY!!! We’ve watched every single season. Of course, Criminal Minds is always a favorite of ours. Gold Rush Alaska, Hell on Wheels, The League are all shows that both Jason and I watch. That’s it for us! I’m pretty happy with that list! I can’t wait for GOOD TV!!!!
Duck Dynasty isn’t on the list!! They BETTER bring that show back!

I just went and looked and they are renewed for a 2nd season! 🙂
