Ingredients:
4 lbs. (approximately 12) apples (peeled, cored, and quartered)
1 cup fresh cranberries
1/4 cup water
Directions: Add apples and cranberries to Crockpot. Pour water over top of ingredients. (If you want to make it sweeter or add in cinnamon, add in desired amour of sugar, brown sugar, or cinnamon now). Place lid on Crockpot. Turn heat to low and cook for 6 hours. Remove lid and stir. This will break up the apples and cranberries that may still be in large pieces. Serve as is, or use a stick blender (or regular blender) to smooth it out.

I like the idea of adding cranberries to applesause, that sounds good. I just cut out a recipe for crockpot apple butter. Applesauce sounds good too. I better get the crockpot going. :+)
I made applesauce in my crockpot recently and it turned out so good. I love cranberry sauce too, so I thought this would be a good combination.
Maybe I’ll try to make this this weekend I really like cranberries so I bet this would be really good. Perfect day to have the crockpot going. :+)
I made this yesterday I only made it with 6 apples instead of 12 but it turned out really good! Navar really liked it as well. :+) I like the addition of the cranberries Yum Thanks for the recipe!
Oh goody. Did your house smell good?
The house did smell wonderful. Navar liked it so much he told his mom about it, so looks like we will be making it again soon. :+) She will be visiting in a couple of weeks.
Good to know! Glad you tried it, and liked it. 🙂
Thanks Nikki! :+)
Awesome. Nothing smells as good as apples.
