Question of the day

I like them occasionally. I do like search words, scrabble (if that counts) and sudoku.
Oh. I love jigsaw puzzles.
I enjoy them when I do them. Usually. I like word search the best, but I also will do the occasional crossword. Sudoku, rarely. I do like the PuzzleMaster on NPR on Saturday Morning. He usually has a good puzzle that you spend the week working on, and he gives you the answer the following week. I’ve never sent in an answer, but I’ve solved quite a few of them. Those are usually ‘play on word’ types of games, or ‘rearrange the letters to make something related’.
I used to be a puzzle fiend – word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, 3-d puzzles, it didn’t matter. Of course, that was when I had time to spend more than 5 uninterrupted minutes doing something unnecessary.
I used to be known as the puzzle queen (jigsaw), but the last few times I worked on puzzles it bothered my eyes terribly. The glare on the puzzle pieces. Maybe it was just bad lighting, or maybe I’m getting old.
I do like puzzles. Jigsaw puzzles are my favorite. I did a LOT as a child, because I was always grounded. They pass the time. Bailey is really getting into them now. 🙂
I have never been a fan of crossword puzzles.
