I watch Discovery channel, TLC, History, and a few others here and there–but I don’t watch much. I spend more time online, or at least on the PC. Especially lately, with the blog tour and all it entails!
I watch more TV during baseball season than any other time of year. Gotta keep up with my Dbacks ;^)
I love music and I love to pretend I can sing! When I can, I do “some moves.”also! LOL π
Radio when driving, TV when relaxing on lounge
Both it’s a toss up.
Depends on what I’m looking for. Radio is on most of the day, but I only have half an ear tuned. If I want national news, it’s radio, because we have network TV, and that’s only good for local stuff.
But at some point during the day, the radio becomes just so much noise, and it MUST be turned off.
I watch “intentional” TV. Only time the TV is on, is when there’s a show that I want to see… Numb3rs, CSI NY, Red Green, or the occasional time that PBS runs The Vicar of Dibley.
So I guess both, in the right circumstances.
GEEZ, what am I thinkin’… And of COURSE, the TV is on during football season! And if they’re not showing the Bears game – oh, yes, it happens here in Iowa, sometimes they get bumped for the VIKINGS!!! (travesty!)… I have the computer on, listening to the game on WBBM out of Chicago online, and watching the plays happen on NFL.com.
A travesty?? That’s just common sense π
They bump the Bears for the Vikings?? That IS a travesty!! I think I would have to move a little closer to Chicago!! LOL GO BEARS!!!
Are you a Cubs fan also Laura???
Both I guess. My radio doesn’t come in the best at home so the TV is on, but I’m not actually sitting there watching it. Radio in the car or at work.
I’m like Laura. I only watch “shows” I want to watch or like. If nothing is on, I’m not a channel flipper and I’ll just turn the TV off and enjoy the quiet. I don’t “look” for something to watch. I really do like it quiet but I will turn on the radio quite often.
I would say it’s about 50/50. Sometimes I prefer to listen to the radio and sometimes I prefer to watch a good show on TV.
I have the TV on most of the time. Even if I am not watching it, I just have to have the background noise. It drives my husband nuts! Hmm, maybe that’s the main reason I do it! π
You must know my wife JAM! LOL
Usually radio during the day or my own CDs. Or movies. Like a few shows though!
Really neither, I prefer to read or do something else around the house.
I listen to the radio more I think. I even will play it all night on my Christian station where they play mostly music. During the day it is on most of the time too. I love songs that inspire me and help me with life situations. When I watch tv I am very intentional, boring, but intentional.
Fox news channel, an occasional movie on LifeTime and I have all kinds of Christian programs I tune into, like CBN’s 700 Club with Pat Robertson. I can receive all kinds of news that I know is the truth. Speaking of, I must go turn it on. One if the times it comes on is at noon here.
I think I’m a freak but I enjoy silence! The old man grates my nerves cuz he comes home and isn’t in the door 2 minutes and has the damn tv blaring. I on the other hand enjoy not listening to anything. I like to listen to myself type π that my friends means I am being productive π
Funny I used to have my TV on all the time. I needed back ground noise. I hate being alone. I’m actually starting to enjoy the quiet when no one is here. I may put Planet Earth DVD in but that’s GOOD stuff!!!
I love music though! When I’m cleaning or just sitting here I like to listen to it. Sirius radio is great, none stop music and you can pick any genre you want.
To pick one…radio for sure!
I generally only watch the evening news on the TV. Occasionally I’ll sit and watch a show with my family. I like to listen to the morning radio shows in my car while I am at my crossing, but then the radio is off the rest of the day. I guess I’m not much into either.
