I love breakfast for supper!!! It was always a treat for us when I was growing up, but my kids get it frequently. Their favorite is french toast and mac and cheese. Who’d a thought of that?!
It depends. I usually have breakfast cereal for breakfast and lunch, sometimes supper. I like pancakes for supper.
You guys are going to laugh, but having lived in the UK for so many years I got into one habit of theirs. I absolutely love as my junky comfort food the following all layered up.
Buttered toast on the bottom
3 strips of bacon
2 eggs
and beans in tomato sauce covering the top.
I know it sounds absolutely revolting… but blame the damn Brits! I especially like to eat this for dinner!
Alot of people eat plain Beans on toast…or they simply add the bacon.
I would eat breakfast for lunch, snack, dinner, supper. Eggs and bacon. How could that be bad for any time of day? 😉
I have to say dinner for me personally but my family likes breakfast more. We even have breakfast for dinner on some nights. Everyone likes to help make breakfast and I am known for my “big breakfasts” as my stepdaughter likes to call them. : )
Oh that’s dinner at least once a week. Eggs, toast and either bacon or sausage. I make this stuff that doesn’t even have a name for it, it has fried potatoes, scrambled eggs and either sausage or hamburger ground up and put it all together. Mmmmm it’s so good. Jason is even eating it now after 10 years!! (picky eater!!) I eat mine with Tabasco sauce but then again I put that stuff on everything. Now I want it…guess what’s for dinner Jason??!!
Absolutly. I love this for supper.
Nikki that sounds so good. Do you fry the potatoes until they are almost done before you add the other stuff?? This is golf night, maybe we are having this too!!
Allll the time, cookies breakfast, lunch and supper … yum!
Ok and like Amber said we eat that kind of “breakfast” for dinner all the time … especially when I am cooking cause at least it can’t really be destroyed (ok not counting the time when the eggs caught alight or the bacon exploded) anyways…
breakfast 24/7
I love to make omelets for dinner! And I grew up having pancakes or waffles for dinner quite frequently.
Yes I fry the potatoes, then the hamburger or sausage then I add the eggs and scrabble it all together. My Mom added cheese to it but I don’t usually. It’s probably the only thing I don’t like cheese on. Try it!!! I make enough more breakfast the next morning, it’s even better!!
Whenever we’re lazy and don’t want to cook anything, it seems that breakfast is the easiest thing to make. I actually made myself a fried egg, ham, cheese and bagel for lunch today. Very yummy!!
Breakfast is always good. What can’t you add to scrambled eggs?
Hey Jenny that sounds delish!! Miss you by the way, we all need to get together again soon!!
I love breakfast for supper. Good question.
I can eat pancakes, bacon, and hashbrowns any time. My kids, on the other hand, won’t touch pancakes for supper precisely because they think of it as breakfast food. I certainly didn’t teach them that!
