Question of the day

ehhhhhhh………no comment ……….. 🙂
If I start from scratch and that means showering, it takes me 90 minutes. I can’t hurry so I take my time and it takes me a good 15 minutes just to wake up. When I worked, I showered at night and I still prefer to do that. If I don’t need to shower, I still get up 90 minutes before I have to leave for somewhere.
I usually give myself a half hour to get ready. That is packing my lunch, eating breakfast, making some wake-up juice (coffee), and watching a little news. PS I usually wake up about 30 min after I get to work.
Well, it really depends on what you mean by “getting ready”. I usually think of it as, “getting from in my pj’s to presentable to the world”, and don’t include things like eating or gathering stuff for the day, since I usually have nowhere to be. So the whole shower thing? About a half hour from pj’s to dry/done hair and makeup. 15 minutes if I leave my hair wet and don’t do makeup.
5 minutes from waking up to being presentable enough to take Josh to the bus stop. That just requires shoes and a jacket over the pj’s.
If I have to work in the morning, usually I wake up like 30-45 min. before I have to leave. But it takes me maybe 15 min. to get ready… Now it’s a different story for going out in the evening. That takes time!! A lot of time 😀
To get ready for what? If I’m just dropping my kids at school and coming back home to work, I don’t shower until later, so that just involves a bathroom break and pulling on my jeans, socks, shoes, and coat. So 5-10 minutes. (Getting my kids ready is a whole other story.) If I have to go to work, then add showering, dressing, packing my computer bag, and preparing a to-go cup of coffee. That’s an extra 20-40 minutes, depending on whether I have to wash my hair / wear a skirt. Now on Saturdays, when our nanny comes at 8am, getting myself “ready” merely involves brushing and boiling water for coffee – total about 3 minutes.
I’m allergic to skirts. I’m so glad I don’t have a job that requires them.
Skirt?? What’s that?
Less than 30 minutes.
It all depends. If I am running late, about 20 minutes, if not about 40. It also depends on my mood and the amount of sleep I had. Some days I just drag!
Well I work from home so I don’t have to get ready for work. If I am leaving for the day, that means shower, and allow myself up to an hour. If I am going out for the night, I do my hair, so maybe even longer….but I don’t necessarily NEED that much time, I just don’t like to be rushed.
With showering – 60 mins. No showering – 40 mins
Me? I can do it in 10-20 minuits however the good lady Catherine can do it in 50 minuets to 2 hours!
I take about an hour for the whole thing. 30 minutes to wake up with my coffee and then 30 minutes to shower, get dressed, do make-up and hair.
For me getting ready is full make-up, washing face etc (I like bathing in the eveining so it’s out of lthe way), hair curled, dressed and out the door. Can do it in an hour, but allow 1 1/2 hour so I can move at a snails pace. That allows time to be sidetracked by other stuff, and still get where I’m going.
