Question of the day

Gifts. You’re gunna get a gift card from me. That way you can get what you want and you wont be able to re-gift!
PS: The gift card will be. From the Mall so u can use it at any store.
Clothing for myself. First off, I have so many “body issues” that nothing ever looks right to me, even if someone else tells me it looks great. Second, I have the fashion sense of an ant, so even if an awesome outfit chased me down and put itself on me? I’d have no clue how to wear it or where to wear it.
Now, for you? I LOVE shopping for you! I’ll buy for other people all day long, especially if they have interesting tastes.
Pants. Jeans or dress pants, doesn’t matter. I have long legs and many people think this is a good thing. It is until you have to buy pants! I have a small waist and long legs so that’s not an easy combination to find in a pair of pants. If I buy “longs” they are about 2 inches too long and look sloppy. If I buy “regulars” they are a hair too short and I look like I’m ready for a flood. Ugh!!!
Everything!! I have to be in the “mood” to shop.
I hate to shop, period, exclamation point! For ANYTHING!
My dad travled a great deal throughout the coastal south during the early 50s -the early 70s. We could possibly be related if your mom was in the area. 😉 But if you mom was also in the European Theator during WWII that could be it too!
Hmmmmm……maybe! 🙂
Besides the obvious (personal items) . . . socks (for me)! I just know they are gonna be too tight. Also undershirts. I just want simple white sleeveless cotton undershirts that fit and aren’t tight. Is that so much to ask? But most of the time I buy what looks perfect and when I get it home, it’s some odd shape that makes no sense. I haven’t bought underclothes for myself in years. I wouldn’t mind if I never needed to again.
I gave up on shoes. I just buy them online now. Mine and my kids’.
I have banned myself from Zappos.com. That site is like crack for me.
Food. I can’t stand it! I never know what I want, what the boys want. Jason used to do it, but he’s so dang busy now that I have to! And we can’t go once a week like normal people because i have a 10 year old that eats as much as a grown man. I could buy a weeks worth of food and it’s gone in 2 days, so I literally have to go every 2-3 days. I HATE IT!
I hate shopping if I *have* to find something, especially for myself. Shoes, clothes, you name it, if I need it I won’t be able to find it!
Grocery shopping is the worst!
Ehhhhhhhhh, I am an exception….I do not mind. But I cannot do it for hours. I love to go alone, finding good deals etc. doesn’t matter for what, groceries, clothes, shoes, as long as it looks nice, fits well, good price.
Go alone? Maybe I’d like that too, if it were ever possible! I’m trying to remember what it was like 4 years ago, but it’s very fuzzy . . . .
I try to do as much shopping as possible, alone. Trying to navigate the store with a rambunctious 7 year old and a blind man is an adventure, to say the least. FORGET shopping for anything but groceries with both in tow!!
I hate shopping for ANYTHING that I “need.” If I “have” to get a birthday gift or a dress outfit or something I “have” to have, that’s when I hate it. I really do try awfully hard to get stuff ahead of time so that doesn’t happen to me very often.
I LOVE grocery shopping though.
