That’s me. Stick a fork in me, I’m done. Actually I’ll soon be burnt to a crisp. Since Wednesday, I have had 3 toddlers every day, and will again Saturday. No, I take that back. I’ll only have 2 toddlers Saturday. I always have my (almost) 3 year old girl here every day, from 9:30-5pm. I have a girlfriend who is 35 weeks pregnant and has had some unexpected complications. Yes, she has two boys ages 2 and 3 (Irish twins) and she’s going to have her 3rd, finally a girl, this Saturday. So I’ll have the boys Saturday also. They are great kids, all of them. But it does take a tole on a person. How she does it everyday, and being pregnant is beyond me! I give her a lot of credit.
On top of that, we have plans with friends tonight (Friday night) I have to keep reminding myself of that because while I’m writing this, it’s still Thursday. Plans with two other sets of friends Saturday night also. I love spending time with our friends, but I will be thankful for one day of nothing, whenever that comes.
Bailey’s baseball tryouts are done, thank goodness and he placed 1st out of 40 boys. YAY for Bailey!!! 🙂 We’re very proud. His 2 closest friends finished in the top 5 also. We’re having a celebratory dinner at Benihana’s, a Japanese Steakhouse, on Sunday. Which just happens to be mine and Bailey’s favorite place to eat.
So cheers to you for the weekend. At some point, I will be consuming some alcoholic beverages. What are your plans? Did you have a good week?
And Jason got Head Coach!!!! The vote was 8-1. We have a LOT to celebrate!!! Now I am really excited for the season to begin. I can’t wait for him to get home so I can see who is on the team!
YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!!
Congratulations to Bailey and Jason!! First place, that is beyond awesome! Now don’t let him get a big head, LOL!
Bailey? Nah, he may have a lot of his dad in him…but he’s got enough of me in him to keep him grounded. 😉
Thank you!
It’s Jason you’ll have to worry about! LOL!
LOL…he’s been pretty humbled actually. He honestly didn’t think he’d get it. I think this will be a good experience.
Congrats to your boys!! And enjoy your dinner. That place is awesome.
Well . . . I don’t know how this weekend is going to go. We were planning to all drive down to DC for the weekend – cherry blossoms and all that – and we are putting on a professional conference there on Monday. But I just got a call to the effect that my sister has been taken down for a c-section. “Pray for baby” is what her husband texted to my dad. That’s all I know right now. I don’t think driving to DC is the greatest idea right now. Which is a bummer since everyone is looking forward to it – including Nanny, who thinks she has the day off on Saturday. Strange, I have never had anything like this happen among family and friends before, so I don’t know the protocol. Hopefully the baby will be OK and just keep fighting and growing through the coming months. In which case the world doesn’t stand still, right? Yet what if . . . don’t wanna go there . . . .
Baby GIRL born WOO HOO! 1.75 lbs. I hear she took a few breaths on her own and then they put her on a respirator. Since they whisked her away to the NICU, nobody really knows anything else, but so far so good, I think.
I heard my sister was getting a fever earlier today, so I’m praying for her as well as the baby.
Oh well, at least the bed-rest sentence has been commuted!
Way to go though she’s a tiny little thing. All my best to you guys and I’m saying my prayers for her.
Oh goodness, she is tiny! I hope baby and mom are 100% well very soon!
Congratulations again to those boys! That’s awesome news 🙂 Enjoy all the celebrating!
Well, Saturday work at the hospital till 3.00 PM, then some shopping and Sunday a relaxing day at home, I think 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend you all!
